no ferry (???) so had to jump across some watery areas to get back east

Fast travel is the best option but if that isn't working you can always re-load from an earlier save.

Is this before or after the ride with the ferryman?

What route did you take, been trying for hours, sick of falling in water and dying to +250 RADS.......

Can't you just cross from the London Bridge gate house?

Or do you mean the ferry bit. I believe there is a path more to the west, I have to rerun it to be sure, but I believe there is a section where you can get back without fast travel.

Alright first up there is a way to go on foot, but It's absolutely not worth it as it requires several thousand rounds of ammunition a high level character a dozen radaways, radx for nuclear storms It involves crossing the A102 road in east London.

The best way is to find a Mariner Beacon if you are not interested in fast-travel. Or just swim a small bit around the outer edge, like you had to do to get there in the first place.

I must warn I have a serious audio bug when going to Bermondsey, and it is not a extra downloaded mod issue like the reverb modification. So be prepared do not have the audio up do not have a headset on, it is loud enough to damage your hearing if you suffer from the audio glitch and are not careful.
