Why didn't the crows mutate? Is there some story line?

Even if the crows weren't synths (and some of them might not be), it's not as if there aren't any other creatures that appear relatively unmutated, since there are still regular dogs and cats.

I just started playing it little more than a month ago, after first the Next Gen updates and then the updates to F4SE and some mods. I know I'm not alone. The Next Gen update and sale motivated a number of people to finally try the game.

The fact the crows aren't mutated is something easily seen in the game and is no secret. There is nothing in the first post that is a spoiler, so just seeing the short bit of the thread that pops up when you hover over the topic in the list doesn't reveal anything either. All of the spoiler stuff comes in later posts, which require opening the thread to see.

So you have to actually open the thread to see the information. Something which someone who doesn't want to have information spoiled for them shouldn't be doing in the first place.
