Fallout London dialogue system
I haven't played FL yet. FO4 had a terrible dialog system and I want to know if FL has improved in that regard.

- do skills play a role in dialog ( medic, repair, perception...)?
- are there chances or thresholds for convincing dialog partners?
- are there non-linear branching quests where you can influence the outcome of a quest via dialog?

Thank you

Attributes do, at least. It's possible skills do as well.

Thresholds.

Don't know yet. It's possible, given how many factions there are. There was one NPC I was sent to kill that had the option to talk to her. I tried this out and let her go, but then I quickloaded and killed her because I wanted her denims. Maybe letting her go would have had consequences down the line.

But none of that matters because they didn't use the correct Bri'ish spelling of "loicence".

My game is ruined.

Probably for the best. This is the most unstable jank I've played in a good while. Crashfest.

Since i added buffout 4 as suggested i did not encounter a single crash anymore.

same, i had four crashes between getting off the train and getting the medic kit for the wounded guy, installed Buffout and ive not crashed since. Im using the GoG version of Fo4 with load times fixes and ENB (effects disabled, just using it for the memory fixes)

Installing Buffout 4 got me past the intro train scene, so it works fine for that, at least with the GOG version I'm using. But don't speak too soon about it solving all the crashes, because it doesn't. If you haven't been to Trafalgar Square yet, be warned that there are numerous locations along the road that consistently cause the game to crash when you get too close to them, forcing you to take a much more roundabout route than should have been necessary.

And the frame rate at Trafalgar is terrible, for obvious reasons. It's a very built-up area with a lot of NPCs milling about, and it's part of the open world. The location really should have been divided up into multiple closed cells like the main city Ark is in Enderal.

To say that this overhaul mod needs some fine tuning would be an understatement.
