I guess the lesson here is: "Be careful where you place your hopes"...
YOUR POST.
YOUR WORDS.
I guess you need reading comprehension then?
At least your faithful to your name sake,
Mr.Binks.
I am pretty demanding on story, quests and rpg and less graphics and stuff. So i am currently pretty satisfied apard from the pretty stingy item availability. Feels a bit too much survival for me. Else i like it.
RIGHT THERE IN YOUR OWN POST!!!!!!
I am guessing there is no adults around to help you read what you posted?
Why are you typing in caps, why are you so angry.
Then you leave me confused what exactly you expected or what it makes....not decent enough?
Right from the get go I had to open a door that was just a black spot on a black wall. I had to look up what to do 1 room from where I started because fire doesn't give light I guess. This is just a metaphor for what the next 5 hours would give me.... very badly given directions. This would be fine if I could rely on the game to be stable and not crash at unexpected intervals or being able to explore on my own without falling through floors or getting stuck in crevices.
There is just to much wonky garbage throughout the levels that leave me shaking my head, why did they design them like this? I'm 14 feet from my objective, but I have to circumnavigate the world to get there. Taking modern level design tropes is not a bad thing. (making previously unusable explored doors now accessible does not count, It just makes things worse. I want my hour of futzing around back.)
This is free, and as such I do give them thanks for giving me a new experience.I paid a price in time and sanity however to make it work. They spent so much time themselves on it, they should have taken more to make it a better experience. If not, why did they do this to begin with? It seems like it tries to do to much, but whats done is done.
I truly loved what I saw and hope it gets the fixes it needs, right now I'm with OP, in 5 years this should not behave like this. Kudos to the FOLON team for what was attempted, I hope they can stick the landing for whenever they call it done.
Finally someone gets what I mean by the terrible map design, this feels like a very unfinished mod, they should of delayed it for another couple years to get things right, the basic gunplay is so poor, i wonder if im the only one that has an issue with 8/10 shots not registering, i was so close to screen recording it and uploading it on youtube to show how much of a fail it is...
