London: After character creation loading screen goes forever
After finishing with character creation the game auto saves and goes into a black loading screen. Nothing happens forever. Anybody else knows how to get past this?

I have F4SE and High FPS Physics Fix installed only.

You don't need a separate F4SE as it's part of the mod. The mods listed on the nexus Fallout London page are the only ones that will work. Having said that the See Through Scopes mod didn't work for me, but Buffout is probably essential.

You're going to need to read through their Discord on the "solutions" channel. It really shouldn't be such a fiasco to get a singular mod to work... but alas, here we are. A buggier mess than vanilla.

Please don't make me go to discord.
I've been trying to run it with F4SE through Vortex, and it was better to begin with. But still having problems with the infinite loading screens when going back to the open world.

IIRC, there is a mod on Nexus to fix the loading times and the mod dev is making a compatibility mod specifically for FOLON to reduce the load screens. I'm sure it'll be ready within a few days as he wants the mod for himself too, lol.

Use load accelerator until high fps physics fix got adapted.

I don't mind long loading screens, but these are infinite! I'll wait until things resolve themselves.

Haven't heard of "infinite" loading screens yet. There was some guy on the Discord talking about how he's played for 12 hours straight and just gotten used to the 4-minute loading screens, lol. As soon as he opens a door, he does some house chores, goes to the bathroom, grabs a "cuppa", smokes a cig, etc. then comes back to the game, lmao. Not for me.

Tried that. Also not working. Still stuck at the loading screen. Interestingly, I can pause, save, and reload and my character will be stuck inside the intro home.

At first I was confused why GOG. Now with the same error I think is exactly the right place for the mod. You know, unfinished publishing is the strength of this company. I'd rather wait another 2-4 weeks before trying it all again. Maybe more will be possible then. I expected more from the character editor. But it's the same and the gog logo. That's a bit disappointing for me.

I fixed the problem. What I did was I reinstalled the F4SE when I should not have done so. Apparently, the F4SE that comes with London has been modified to work with the mod; without it, London will not run properly.

So, simply put: Do not touch anything that is installed by the London Installer.
Also, High FPS Physics Fix is working well.

Note that if your game takes you to the pre-war house character creation screen then you have obviously touched the files that London installed. This means that you need to reinstall London and NOT touch the files that were installed.

What advice would you have for me, who has not "touched" any files? I literally installed and started the game. My cc was the pre-war cc screen followed by a seemingly 12 year loading screen.

I installed Buffout 4, High FPS physics fix, Load time fix and the gun debris fix and i am still getting random crashes when just walking around. Tried tons of different graphics settings and so far nothing has worked.

Without the load screen fix it was taking 2+ minutes on every load screen with a good SSD, which is insane for such an old game/engine. No clue why issues like this were not addressed in the extra time they had since the initial release was pushed back.

I play Fo76 and i rarely ever crash so for this to be way more buggy is saying something. Not being unappreciative of the immense amount of work for many years this has taken to get finished and released but it has been a rough experience for me and many others due to the constant CTD. I'm excited to play it and see all the new content and characters and quests etc but it is hard when i can only see it all in such small amounts. :steamsad:

1. Do a clean Fallout 4 installation.
2. Install Fallout London.
3. Install High FPS Physics Fix. (Fix loading times)(Make sure the version is for Fallout London)
4. Install Weapon Debris Fix. (Fix ingame crashing)(Make sure the version is for Fallout London)
5. Play

Again, if the game takes you to the pre-war cc then your F4SE is not the one that came with London.
