Personally; don't bother playing it right now. Crashes often.

No but it makes install easier. You just have to install GOTY, turn off cloud saves, run it once to set graphics. Go in data folder, delete the creation club files. Download london, run it to install. Play.

But.......... I played it for 8 hours today and it is a crash fest. I solved a crash where I could no longer log in with Buffout mod and a couple ini settings from discord but then crashed again. I gave up. And even GOG accepted refund after 8 hours of play for GOTY.

It requires you to login with your steam account. Guessing to scan to see if you own the legal steam version + dlcs. Of course downgrade patch the game files for the london mod to work. It's best to have steam guard activated on your personal cell phone. Just in-case something happens. But I'm not too worried about it. I mean they spent like what? 5 years and just to steal accounts? Yeah right.

You can either use steam commands to download the older files and replace each of the ones in the game folder or however it works. My friends mentions Steam DB but i never used it or know what it does.

Steam Fallout 4 GOTY version is all you need.

You need the base game and all DLC. CC mods are irrelevant.

You must install Fallout 4 in english language, localized versions wont work with the downgrader.

Fallout London does massive changes to your normal Fallout 4 installation, you wont be able to play your regular Fallout.

They recommend GOTY Edition.

You do NOT need GOTY, but you do need all the DLCs.

NO, You don't need it on GOG, I'm using GOG for Fallout: London, but Fallout 4 on Steam.

But, has already been mentioned, it crashes ALOT. Longest game I had was about 10 miins, then BAM, Desktop. No warning, no error message.

Install buffout mod, fixed crashes for me, that being said I’m not really feeling it after a few hours.

They recommend GOG version, likely because Steam has a few things that crashes the mod, maybe we will get a Steam version in the future.

If you own GOTY or otherwise base game _ all dlc's on any platform to my knowledge, so long as you can roll back your next gen update to previous patch, you can install the mod from gog right into your steam folder.

Not because of crashing at all.

It's because downgrading is a pain in the ass and you have to turn off auto updates.
