To fix, I installed the Buffout mod using Vortex, then changed my "Fallout London" shortcut to run f4se_loader.exe instead of it's default.
i.e.
"<Drive Letter>:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\f4se_loader.exe".
This solved all my random ctd when running about. I've even been playing with a lot of my Fallout 4 mods still active, so have extra weapons, armor, etc :)
I can't believe some of the toxic and hostile comments out there, I hope these people stop leaving negative reviews when they have not actually played it. Thank you Team Folon for allowing us to wander around old blighty - now everything is working, I am truly loving the experience so far!

I - weirdly- started to get crashes on my second playthrough ( i stopped after hour 5 on the first as i wanted a more planned clean start where i knew where to go). Used buffout 4 as suggested and the crashes went to, nearly, zero.
The Trafalgar Square area is absolutely crushing my GPU. No matter what resolution or setting. Saint Paul's Cathedral is nearly as bad.
Those are just disgruntled people, mod is buggy cause I am entitled sack of sh*t and most ponies Beth Bad because no exclusives, they always love to talk sh*t on other hardware.
It is what it is.
=======================================================================
Bug list is good. Dialogue looping is one. Buffout 4 mod seems to cure most of my crashes.
Stutter and Hick ups.
2k retex mods mostly fine. Character creation mods like Compedium, Looksmenu, HiPoly head + Hires face tex and CBBE runs fine.
Yeah i think that's the best way.
1. Address Library for F4SE Plugins[www.nexusmods.com]
2. Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE)[www.nexusmods.com] NOTE: You must select the version Compatible with runtime 1.10.163 (Expand Old Files on the Files tab)
3. xSE PluginPreloader F4[www.nexusmods.com]
4. Buffout 4[www.nexusmods.com]
After the mods have been installed via Vortex, launch Fallout 4 from the Vortex game launch button[i.imgur.com].
Tally ho, and pip pip! Lets get on with the bloody thing!!
Worked for me 2 hours, crash.
It's not exactly that Fallout London is buggy, it's that the mod team either is using non RTX graphic cards or never turns on weapon Debris.
I have done this process about 5 times getting to this point. Trying older Nvidia drivers (Current driver 560.70 makes Farming Simulator crash)
The least Possible!
1. Fallout London Downgrader [www.nexusmods.com]
2. Buffout 4 [www.nexusmods.com] Not sure if it is needed TBH, only crash I got was an Exception Error, which the next step solves
3. Weapon Debris Crash Fix [www.nexusmods.com] Short explanation, When NVidia introduced the 20XX series they changed an API that makes Fallout 4 angry if you use Weapon Debris (I assume everyone is like me and turning every setting to max)
I did every previously selected fix:
- install the PreReqs for F4SE
- install BuffOut 4
- run [f4se_loader.exe]
- run [f4se_loader.exe] as administrator
- only fun Fallout 4
- resist using quicksave or saving often ( A suggestion from IGN )
The big Fallout London Crashing Fix post on Reddit eventually mentioned the Weapon Debris Crash Fix and that got me over 3 hours before I quit, previous play times were sub 30 minutes.

i had missed a few things and still had crashes.
Same ♥♥♥♥ with gog, crashing after Train Crash. lol
