How to install London
I have Fallout 4 old gen instaled.
I have downloud Fallout London from GOG

So what now i copy all Fallout London files and paste them in Steam Fallout 4 map ?

Check the file that's failing to copy and make sure it isn't set to read only as well in your Fallout 4 installation. That can also cause the same error message.

i couldn't get this working either. done everything. Load the game up, i get the FOL flash screen, start new game, get the intro, but then it just loads the base fo4 character creator in the US house, and then after i select accept it just hangs on loading forever.

Then you did something wrong. as it should load you into a test tube with 2 npc's talking in front of you for the character creation section.

No you can relocate Fallout4 through the library option by right clicking FO4 and manage. you wont need to delete anything.

What executable are you using to launch the game? You'll either need to use the f4se executable or the Launch Fallout - London shortcut

no idea what honestly. i've modded fo4 many times over the years. follow the guide , tried it twice. same thing.

YES this was the problem.

I change both files in Steam and GOG London - (customcontrolmap )which were both set only for read.

Now it works.
