Tapper attack on Dalton farm bug

starting to get annoyed at the amount of glitched quests stuck on my screen. have concierge and cleansing the commonwealth already.

Now trapper attack on dalton farm appeared the wrong way round and is therefore stuck. I got the first quest, and I go to dalton which was peaceful, and a settler told me to go to southwest harbour to kill all the trappers. so I do that, then it tells me to go back to report to dalton. I do, only for someone to say to me to defend dalton, and that becomes a quest. except the trappers clearly aren't coming as ive already killed them all.

waited a few days. went elsewhere and slept. its still a quest.

any chance it will fail at some stage? my last saved game is a whole day off before.
