What do you find the game lacks? What do you want to tweak or make better, or remove?
Literally every mod you can ask for can easily be searched on either the Nexusmods or on Bethesda's site. Only you know what you want.
Only YOU can READ each mod's description, check file upload dates to make sure they are appropriate to your version of the game, and read bug reports to see whether older ones DO work or not.
I mean, I can suggest about 200 settlement mods.
But I won't, because I have no idea what YOU want on YOUR game. Those are what *I* want...
You don't want us to tell you what your game should have in it.
The "fixes" - if you need them they're there, but they're far from necessary.
Weapons mods? Thousands of them. Clothing and bewbies? Yup those too.
You don't give us anything to GO ON to tell you what WE like, which you MIGHT want or might say "god that sounds stupid no!"
Well, there is nothing wrong about asking for mod advice but with lecturing.
Most everything on the first 3-4 pages is good to download. Pick what you like.
B: What kind of mod?
A: A realistic mod
B: Better Locational Damage
A: A realistic weapon mod
B: Combined Arms
A: A lore-friendly realistic weapon mod
B: Post apocalypse home made weapons
A: No guns, just melee
B: Classic Super Sledge
A: One-handed melee
B: MikeMoore's weapons
A: I only want swords
B: Kitana blades
A: I said lore friendly.
B: just use MikeMoore
A: I don't want the extra weapons just the swords.
B: Then don't use them...
A: Ok.
B: Cool
A: Now how do I port this over to Skyrim?
For utility mods I suggest Achievments Mod Enabler,[www.nexusmods.com] and High FPS Physics Fix[www.nexusmods.com] using the config file to lock your framerate at 60.
Isn't the whole point High FPS Physics Fix to allow a higher framerate and a more fluid game?
It has nothing to do with extra radiation or anything but simply adds approx 100 new locations to the game.
from tiny (abandoned tent and cookpot) to huge (large supermutant occupied cities in the Glowing Sea. And everything in between, friendly Minuteman Camps, hostile supermutant spots and plain empty buildings by the road side.
Breaks no recombines as it adds and doesnt delete, fps seems unaffected
And its so well done even though I run another 300 mods have never seen serious conflict. it makes the game feel less empty and is how it should have shipped to begin with:

I also like A forest a lot. Makes the game world look more realistic ( I mean there SHOULD be tons of trees without industrial logging for 200+ years in MS right?) and also adds a bit of mystery to your travels since u can no longer see half a mile ahead.

Those 2 are my minimum loadout for content mods (not counting utiities that others have already lnked)
Ultimately when you are more advanced in game and looking for things to do before finishing main quest I would recommend additional quest mods, like Xanders Aid from Neeher and maybe a New Lands mod like The Wilderness from Zorkaz, but for a new playthrough using stuff that works with new game version, those are the two linked above are the minimum.
Yeah, but in practice it's still not 100%. Nothing is that I've ever tried. But the patches and fixes and load acceleration make it a solid mod to have anyway. I really don't think high fps is ever going to be 100% until Bethesda changes their engine to allow it.
