Creation club = mods. Some of the worst mods there are.
Secondly, if you have installed a mod, whether from nexusmods.com or from the in-game Mod menu or however, and it modifies a part of the game where you now experience crashes, then it is caused by the mod in 95%-99% of all cases.
Thirdly, and because it is another frequent cause for early crashes, disable Weapon Debris when you have an Nvidia card. It should be off by default, but if you have turned it on then turn it off again. It crashes with modern Nvidia cards.

It could be *literally any mod*.
ANY mod.
ANY MOD. From ANY source, doing *absolutely anything* to the game's code, that may break it that early.
If you made the error of getting the Tunnel Snakes or other such early-start or game changing mods from bethesda, there's a "delayed start" mod you need to pick up (if it's for the updated game version ONLY) to apply it from the nexus. That way you'll be able to run such mods without them interfering directly with your ability to play the game from the start.
The game's code is well past spaghetti and is a bucket of 10 bags of ramen.
