Craftable pool
Can anyone tell me of a working mod that allows you to craft a pool with water. The mod that exist (Build your own pool) doesn't allow you to find the magazine that opens the mod crafting options.

Unfortunately that's the only pool mod that I know of , at least on Nexus . Have you reinstalling the mod or maybe going back before you find the magazine or have you now progressed too far to do that . You could also try the console command '' tcl '' ( without the quotation marks ) and look under ground for the magazine . I have another mod where I have to look for starting trigger for the quest using tcl because it's location is underground .

The magazine should have been in the control station with the button to open the Vault 111 door. I have used the mod for years and never had an issue with the magazine.

If you did scrapall in Sanctuary then check the Sanctuary workshop.

I did try to search for the magazine. It wasn't in any of the vaults. will look again. I've finished my achievements and the game and wanted to check the mods.

No, the control station on the outside Vault 111.

Snap n Build with the updated texturing and extremely nice (SMM REQUIRED) organized tabs of construction stuff includes a pool option. Note that to my knowledge there may be only one which actually acts like a pool that people want to be IN otherwise they're just gonna stand around in it.

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/79622

does have a hard requirement of the original snap n build 2
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28834

and SMM

I highly recommend this mod I have put so much of these parts into my settlements since picking it up, they're BEAUTIFUL.

Yeah well the Build a Pool mod had other features I liked like the showers (with a happiness bonus) and rad showers.

Yeah though it also has so many people saying it just straight up doesn't work now, I don't know. I'd love to have those things for animation and sandboxing but oof. last updated literally 8 full years ago directly after its original release.

Hmmm...

Did you enable Archive Invalidation? This mod does not use a BA2 file, so you need to do it to see the magazine.[/quote]
Which means your INI file needs this like in the Archive category:
[Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

Both for Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini.
Did so. And no go no so far. no where near the two cabins just outside vault 111 I can find the magazine. Got the Settlement Objects Expansion pack water tiles to work and build my pool.

Hopefully it will get an update. I always liked that mod.

Okay, I think I figured out a way to fix this with the console....

The magazine gives a perk.
The perk unlocks the building stuff.
So all someone needs to do is figure out the name of perk being added and add it with the console.

Given they literally say they will never touch the mod once it was put up 8 years ago I am gonna guess they will not be touching their mod now ...

Hopefully some enterprising folks will pick up and realize hey there's actually good ideas let's revamp it.
