How to limit frame rate to 60 FPS?
My game runs fine, but there is a desynchronisation of characters dialogue and their lips which ruins immersion for me. I think limiting my frame rate to 60 FPS will fix this, however I cant seem to make it work. Using an AMD GPU with a freesync monitor.

You should be able to do that in your video card's control software. I don't know exactly what the steps are since I use Nvidia, but it can't be too hard. You could also do what Varia suggests, though it's a tad more ambitious.

Sigh. Fix your Adrenaline settings to cap it.
ETA: a proud AMD user with no issues at all.

You only need High FPS phyics fix mod if you have trouble with "no sound" anymore ! Its not against "stuttering" or "minilags" ingame !

I have played with the Vsync setting in Adrenalin to no avail. I have also set iPresentInterval to 1 with no success.

It's not Vsync, it's Frame Rate Target Control I think for AMD. Just find Frame Rate Target Control and set it to 60 max. Make sure you're doing it just for Fallout 4, you don't want to apply it globally.

I don't see that in my Adernalin software.

Found it but I am not sure how to set it for Fallout 4 alone. I will see if i can figure it out.

Just set in windows - screen - graphic - fallout4.exe or f4seloader.exe to low energy mode instead of high - so your framerate drops down and problem maybe solved.

And thx to all modders wich keep this game playable - especially modded gaming after bethesda´s gamebreakin´patch.

I set mine to a value of 2.
That way it is half of what the monitor refresh rate is set to. The monitor is set to 120hz and so my FPS in the game is at 60.
That works for me.

For me that worked out much better than limiting it within the Nvidia settings.

Did you follow the instructions exactly and installed F4SE too?
