Fallout TV Show VERY good

After finding I could easily cancel after the free trial month I decided to join Amazon Prime.

I had no high expectations. The first episode was fine. It held my interest from start to finish. The style was about right with a mix of humor, drama, and serious violence. Yes, tiny weak spots one could nitpick but it takes a lot to hold my attention. The scenes were mostly fast-moving (one exception dragged a bit.) Video quality is moderate. Yes, it's 4K but not pin-sharp, high-quality 4K. Sound for me like many movies is spoilt because of the extreme dynamic range. Turn up the volume for speech, turn it down for noise (but not as bad as some in that respect.)

I enjoyed it. To anyone who's never played FO4, this series will look quite original and in a very unusual style.

If you're a hardcore FO4 obsessive then maybe don't watch it if you're just trying to match it to some preconceived notion of what you think it should be. For me, I accept it for what it is and I'm starting straight away on Episode 2!

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are two of my favorite games ever, 4 was meh. I was embarrassed watching this. Granted, I could only stomach one episode. Looks like Tunneler have wreck New Vegas, which Mr House didn't calculate in this estimations. He is going to have to make a deal with the BOS to deal with them. Since NCR is useless and dead, Enclave will just released a FEV that will kill them and everyone else, Vault Tech will say go look for someone else to dealt with it and it's a BOS thing to kill off abominations.

Incase anyone is saying that BOS will just kill Mr House, need to note down that the BOS didn't actively hunt down on non Feral Ghouls so they can leave Mr House alone if he agrees to let the BOS in his new company and the shearing of tech.

You keep posting in multiple topics about the NCR being gone, but you have yet to post any lore showing they are gone. Just because the NCR no longer occupies Shady Sands does not mean the NCR is gone.

Was already renewed for Season 2 before it premiered.
Rotten Tomatoes gave it a Critics 95% and Audience 86% for ratings.

This attitude from the "angry fans" is normal. They all said Creation Club would fail, Then it was Fallout 76 would fail, then they say Starfield failed. The "prophet's of doom" failed every prophecy so far, and it is looking like they are going for a fourth with the show.

People have no patience to let a story develop.. the constant "it didn't wow me in the first episode" and -entercryinghereaboutlucormaximushere- is absolutely telling. Good god the impatient mofos these days. Before they thought the vaults would be sanitzed good-good.. they were NOT. Then its the female lead isn't relatable.. ahh the naivety was perfect and sums up most self-imposed echochamber people very well. Then its Maximus BoS guy isn't flawed and all white guys are.. then its like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really? Maximus is every one of us effing up in the game and absolutely dumb as balls with our power armor. :P He's also very friggin flawed and shows that maybe just maybe not every forced-soldier is in a good place. Duh.

The ghoul is perfect and keeps a link to old world and new world as a great lore navigating character. Anyone who hated the Ghoul has the room temp IQ they accuse the rest over.

All ya complainers and braintwormed influenced ones- just enjoy things again. :P You're digging your own isolation graves til you blow up some place outta frustration for all the wrong reasons. Chill, ENJOY a show.. and enough with the nitpicking..

Also the show takes place after the games, maybe read a wiki timeline or something...

The Series looks like they want to cut out most of the old Fallout made by Interplay/Black Isle for future lore.

I think it is aimed more at the racist and prejudiced remarks rather than incorrect lore.

Only downside I had for him is the fact I an a Justified fan and his Boyd Crowder character is a LOT alike. Which is going to be very interesting if they make a season 3 of the Justified show.

Fallout 4 lore said they captured T-60 manufacturing plants from the Enclave, which kinda made no sense since Enclave uses X-01 types. Which Fallout 4 took place 9 years earlier, so would be fairly easy to have replaced the old armor.

However...it makes no sense because despite the T-60 being newer and better that doe snot mean the T-45 and T-51 would be put out of service, especially if there was a shortage of armor.

Why does everything have to be some sort of conspiracy?
It costs money to do all the special effects for power armor, why would you spend triple the budget just to have multiple types that would barely even be seen? Seriously how many scenes would have shown the older models? All that time and money into special effect for what 10 minutes at most?

The T60 is a better PA than the T51b, better rad protection and has a inbuild jet pack. The Eastern BOS even builds new ones so don't need to search the wastelands to find wreck or discarded PA.
