you're delusional if you're expecting this in a 2015 game

Not likely. But it would be a nice surprise. The DLSS. I am not a fan of Ray Tracing and do not think Fallout 4 needs it. I did not use RT in The Witcher 3 Next gen update. Did not like how it effected some stuff in the game world. Like the Witcher's hair looking blonde. :)

I woulda love 4k dlss quality, would render the game @1440p and then upscale, i'm also kinda suprised nobody made a DLSS mod, atleast ive seen none on nexusmods..
As for Witcher only thing ive noticed was my 7800x3d being hammerd.. still looked fine but i think metro / robocop / cp2077 / alan wake look best rn as far as RT / Pathtracing go.

Without a fix for the engine running above 60fps is not exactly good, the engine relies on framerate for a lot including physics.

If nothing else, well-executed DLAA might be a nice alternative to the current TAA.
Granted, there's already a mod that does that, but normally I'd say a native implementation would be preferable. Then again this is BGS so perhaps not.

RT is not something that's just slapped on unless you want a mess visually and tanked performance. Every surface has to be examined for its necessity to have RT, not just textures but mesh as well. In some cases, location and relation to other RT surfaces also make a difference. Once the right candidates are found, the RT has to be mapped correctly to each and tagged for the appropriate objects.

That also takes an engine that can use it. Creation Engine doesn't do it. That goes for both CE1 and CE2.

If you think Bethsoft is going to do that for a 2015 game, you'll be paying modern-day full price for it and gain so little. (More likely $70 base game than the original $60.)

Simply not as good or efficient as having it natively in the game, also requires F4SE so have fun with that while it's broken and gets broken whenever the game updates.
