Lexington broken precombine
A raider house on the edge of lexington (there's a turret with a bunch of strings of metal cans), that when you look through its windows or gaps on the wall from a certain angle, buildings and objects would flicker in and out. Is this intended? I'm playing vanilla, unmodded

Even if vanilla, the game's occlusion and geometry are atrociously bad.

You might be merely seeing something change because your shading or occlusion settings are too broad or not correct. You might, however, also be seeing the results of a removed or moved item that still 'lingers' and since you weren't 'supposed to see through this area' the game still renders it in a specific way.

It's been there since launch and will never likely be fixed, because it's not the kind of thing that CAN be 'fixed' for all parts of every map.

I see. Thanks for explaining. Thought PRP could fix this but not yet. Not a big deal so I'll ignore it

Nah generally if it's a vanilla settlement OR a mod settlement that actually says its compatible with that mod, then yea it'll be fixed reasonably well I guess. But not just out in the wild as far as I know. Mostly because in vanilla areas, you're not supposed to be able to remove anything for that to be a problem visually. That's not saying the DEVS did their work right, there are whole areas of the vanilla map that just.

You can see into Infinity at the Christopher Columbus Park, that building I think it's fanueil hall right next to it, holy crap the problems with the map there are amazing.

PRP devs can only do so much to fix this map.

Also keep an open mind that PRP could be just as easily the cause.

I've seen that in a few places where part, or sometimes all, of the geometry will vanish cause the game thinks you can't see it.

you will find places with missing content entirely windows into the void, Sometimes a Partlyl transparent textured item will cause an area to Cull
