You can play with old mods on an older version of the game until all your mods until they are updated.
If you're asking whether F4SE is updated, you probably can check that for yourself: https://f4se.silverlock.org/

No, it's not.
If you have a specific mod in mind that is not compatible with the current build of F4- well you ought to at least name it, so somebody can check it for you.
The problem is if every other mod depending on them has been updated or even needs an update. Some have, some haven't.
It actually is, it literally states so in the link you shared, and the mod author is monitoring for issues related to F4SE, if any. Some mods making use of .dll's/F4SE are not yet updated.
It's interesting to note that the F4SE author calls 1.10.980 pretty unstable, so Beth needs to come to the party with some patches.
I'm not updating my game until all this has been done, even if it takes months.
One major one though is MCM. A number of mods depend on that one, and even some that don't use F4SE make use of it. Last I checked it's still being worked on, so many of those mods are still in limbo.
No, it isn't. I checked through five pages here on the Steam discussion to see if anyone had already asked, went through both fallout 4 and fallout4mods subreddit to see if there was any update. Nothing from what I skimmed through. So I'll have to try downloading an older version of Fallout 4 to install Welcome to Paradise then.
I hope the team working on Fallout London finds out what needs fixing from the latest scuffed update so they can get back on track. I'm looking forward to it.
Ah that's good to know!

You could, can and will be able to mod games. F4SE is not required to use mods. Anything is a mod, from the intro video replacement to a companion reskin. Script extender is not an ultimate gateway. It's very important, but on its own doesn't limit ability to 'mod' in any way- and nobody knows what mods you're using/are interested in.
Things that have been broken because of this update- still are, almost all of them, because it takes time to update things, and even then a lot of mods won't be updated because creators moved on and there's no official support.
If you know mods that you're following are broken, why are you asking people about that? You should've just said 'how to downgrade the game' right away, instead of asking this borderline pointless question for which the answer is obvious.
On the side- the concept of an answer to 'are mods OK now' when there are a billion mods out there, is kinda ridiculous, don't you think?
