The TV show only requires you to sit on the couch and consume. The video game requires you to make choices. Some are easy, some are hard. The way you make your choices defines how the story unfolds for you.
Chances are if you are a fan of the couch and cannot be bothered with exploring an open world full of choices, thereby making your own story, will you not like it. You will however find much of the show reflected in the game, simply because the show takes it from the games.
No, no, no.
This is what you all get wrong. You don't play fallout4 because of the show.
You play something cos you like the genre and game type and think it's your thing. Do you people even have your own things you like, or does tv tell you what to like?
From what I can see, tv TELLS people what to like.
The world is very rich, lots of storylines to be gleamed that have no part of the main-game. There's also a variety of paths you can take on the main storyline that offers replayability.
I'd say overall the Fallout Universe has a MUCH better storyline then the tv-show, but Fallout 4 I felt was kind of weak on the main storyline. Is it weaker then the show? Hard to say.
I felt like the first 3-4 episodes of the tv-show were really weak and bad writing and it kind of spit in the face of the games...but the show started to align more as it went on.
Fallout 4 is the best game in the series...as for best storyline I think that'd be Fallout 2 or Fallout Tactics. This doesn't make Fallout 4 bad, just not as strong as previous games. And as someone who has finished the tv-show I don't think we know enough about the environment of the show to really judge it.
Ever play Skyrim? This is Skyrim with guns. If you enjoyed Skyrim you'll probably enjoy this one as well.
Don't tell people what the tv tells them to do. Let them make up their own mind.
Yawn. You definitely need to stop watching tv.
Look I don't expect to convince anyone over the idiot box, but maybe someone somewhere will think with their own brain.
Maybe.
the game is better, now you can explore that ruined wasteland, you liked the zone around the hospital in shady sands? the red rocket stop, the Filly settlement where mr ghoul and maximus fight? well Fallout 4 has stuff just like that and more and better.
Show is ok, but it's a tv show, the Games give a total different experience you going to love it.
