I joined miniutemen and have really cool bases allo over the map, did a some of the brother of steel. and joined the rail road people. I finish the vault-tec dlc and the automatron dlc. I just started the first quest of nuka-world. This game is fun

same lol over 100hrs and i did a lot exploring North west, the east zone, west and south east (i stay away from south west the glowing sea) and i reached diamond city not long ago, i avoided that place for a long time to slow down with main quest. I haven't been to Nuka world or far harbor yet cuz there's so much to do.

Anywhere between 100-300 hours, or more.

125h with all side quests.

I got 450-500 hours when I played years ago. This was on the PS4. When I finally got around to PC, I fell into the modding addiction. Spent more time modding than playing haha. Maybe about 300 hours before I got through the main quest? Don't remember exactly. I'm a super slow player, though, especially playing a stealth sniper.

Main quest and lots of side quests in those hours, but I doubt I did everything. Didn't even get to Far Harbor or Nuka World. Looking forward to a new playthrough after the update drops. Will definitely do the DLC this time.

594 hours and I've never finished it.

Well, you don't really finish it. It's an open world game with lots of procedurally generated quests. You can just keep going until you get bored, and doing the main quest is optional. I usually complete the main quest eventually, but I typically don't progress too far in it before I get distracted by other stuff.

I typically feel I'm becoming powerful enough to take on difficult quests around level 15 or 20. Things finally swing my way around level 30, and I end up rampaging through most of the game. By level 50, I'm too powerful to be seriously challenged any more, and I start thinking about retiring the character. If I'm doing more of a completionist game, I go to level 75 or 100.

I don't know exactly how long that takes, but it's a very long time. Yeah, probably something like 100-200 hours. You can just keep playing for as long as you want, and you'll probably keep finding new stuff until you hit level 100. By then, the wasteland should start looking pretty empty.

1634.5 hours in game since release, and still have not been to Diamond City to continue the main quest.

My first vanilla run was around 400 hours. Most of my modded runs since then (around 11 or so) have averaged around 500-600 I think. Some curtailed by bad bug problems or seriously broken mods, but otherwise I tend to do about 1.5 characters a year, just. over and over. Because people keep coming out with new settlement mods and areas to build, and i can only use so many at once... Gotta plan those out!

Far Harbor

One of my (many) favorite side quests was "Kid in a Fridge." I thought it was a neat little easter egg in the show when Maximus, as a kid, climbed down out of the fridge he was hiding in after Shady Sands was obliterated.

Don't hover over the spoiler tag if you're new to Fallout 4 or haven't seen the show. It's not detrimental to either, but just in case.

I thought it was really cool. There are a bunch of little things like this, a lot of them subtle and a few not so subtle, in the show.

Blame it on the mods, but I think I will never really finish this game.
Though, I also made one vanilla run, playing the main quest to the Minute-Men ending.
Don't have these saves anymore, but I think it took me like 20-25 hours.

Now I have profiles with level 70 characters with hundreds of hours, that haven't even been in Concord yet to meet Brixton Garlic.

And I'm prefering alternative endings offered by mods.

Haa, Brixton Garlic. Got a little body chuckle outta that.
