Mod to Display Item Visual...
Something that bothers me is not being able to see the item graphically when looking a store box or something, the best we have are some digital holographic things or the Pip-Boy when looking inventory. Is there a mod that let me see a graphic visual of the item when looking containers?

Why would you want that? You already can tell basically what it is when you open the transfer item menu.

But sorry, I don't use mods. Can't help you with that. Do a research for such on Google or the Nexus mod website.

You might want to have a look at the "FallUI" series of mods over at the Nexus.
I believe, the "FallUI Inventory" is what you are looking for.

However, "FallUI Inventory" requires the "Mod Configuration Menu" to run, which again needs the F04 Skript Extender...

Welcome to modding :)

Thanks for the information, I know how mod work, that some mods have requirements of other mods, I just want to know if there's a mod that does what I want, I'm gonna explore this series and see what I get.

So... Just to be clear, you have nothing to bring to the table only your annoying opinion about mod users which wasn't requested? Like... You could do a lot of things like ignoring the thread and moving on with your life, but instead you waste time trying to lecture me about using mods? What? What's your purpose in the thread if you won't gonna help? Why are you here?

No, it's not exactly what I want, but those icons help a lot to see something and immediately know what it is instead of having to read and interpret the name of the item all the time. I'm gonna add those icons, pretty neat =)

so clicking the right stick on a joystick shows every single item i want to see in a vendor menu or my pip boy or when looking in a container.

it does the same thing skyrim does and lets you zoom in and see all the attachments.

why do you need a mod for this when it's already in the game?

idk what the kb button is but the game literally shows you the buttons to press at the bottom of the screen when in an inventory.

just select one and hit whatever button it says on the bottom to view it.

I didn't lecture you dude. That is your own overactive reaction. I asked a simple question and then also, gave you some suggestions on how to find such mod. If I was against you using a mod, I certainly would not have gave you some tips on where you could find some.

Maybe I wasn't clear... Let me explain, when we open a container and select one of the items inside the container, it doesn't show the graphic of the item, you know what it is by the name and that's it. Here, for example: https://i.ibb.co/4prkgvp/Untitled.png

*This isn't me playing, I'm kinda busy at the moment so I can't open the game to show, I just search for a random play through on YouTube to show what I mean.*

He has the Cigar Box selected inside the desk, but the game doesn't show an image of the cigar, a 3D image in the middle of the screen, for example, you read what it is but it doesn't SHOW what it is, it's only the NAMING. That's what I'm looking for, a Mod that, once you select something inside the container, it shows a 3D image of the item, like in Skyrim, that you select the item and see the 3D image of it: https://i.ibb.co/NFT0HzY/Untitled.png

You asked me why I would want that.
You didn't understand what I requested.
You told me you don't use mods.
You affirm that you can't help.
And your "suggestion" is to search on Google like an idiot.

I'm gonna give you a suggestion now... Unsubscribe the thread and move on with your life. You don't have to reply to every single thread that exist in the universe, you don't have to speak up about everything, you don't have to express your opinion just because you want to be heard.

You are the worst type of person there is when someone is asking for help, instead of helping you say to ask for help in another place... Please, unsubscribe the thread and move on with your life, I'm blocking you and ignoring you for now on.

Another thing... I don't know what the item is, which prompt me to collect anyways, which prompt me to have a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and useless items stored in my inventory. We can't see the price, we can't see what it does, we can't see the weight, just the name.

he was just trying to help, dude. I get you're frustrated he "wasted" your time but you could have just ignored it...

OK let's get this back on track, sure, such things are easily possible... well, at least for 3 more days, then the update will break it all, so either hold off until F4SE & AL are updated, and maybe these mods too, because the interface could likely change as well, no telling, right? Or just play offline and un-updated for a week or however long it takes to stabilize the modding community afterwards...

anyway, you need a few mods.

you want at least "FallUI - HUD" and "FallUI - Inventory" (there's a whole series of FallUI stuff), you want the "Crafting Highlight Fix" to change the hologram on crafting and trades to regular colors... and if you want icons beside the item names you'll also need a "FallUI - Icon Library" and "FIS - The NeW FallUI Item Sorter". (it should go without saying you need F4SE, Address Library, and Mod Configuration Menu installed first.)

but it'll look like this, and you can customize the **** out of it:

YES... YES, THIS IS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. Another guy told me about the series of FallUI, @JonExx, but he wasn't so deep as you so I interpreted the mods differently. Thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for, I want to see what I'm looting like any other game to check if I want or not in my inventory. Thank you.

I have a question: How do I install the mods? I installed both requirement mods and worked properly, but I have no idea how to install the ones you suggested to me. I have the files but I don't know where to drag and drop them, also I couldn't find a tutorial on Nexus Mod.
Death Approaches Apr 22, 2024 @ 6:25am
it's too much to cover, especially if you're using the in-game CC menu - that is not even aware of F4SE type compiled .dll mods, you need a 3rd party mod manager like MO2 or Vortex, or manually install them all.... The internet is littered with guides for this...

this is why I gave you the 3-day disclaimer; when the update rolls out 4/25, they won't work unless you block updates and play via your mod manager or disconnected until the dust settles and everything is updated to accommodate the patch.

you own this off of steam, so I can't see your hours or how long you might have been at this already, I have no idea how technical you are... you might want to just collect this stuff for now and do research on mod managers and using F4SE and stuff, wait a couple days and see how the update unfolds; see if people are downgrading and going back to this version, or if it's that much better, etc.

I'll leave it to your google-fu to find tutorials and videos, but if you're stuck I'll dig up some links (there's no less than 5 modding tutorials in the Guides section)
