Will April's update improve graphics quality?
Is this "next-gen update" announced for April 25th going to improve graphics quality? The game seems nice, but the graphics look bad.

I also read that there are mods to improve the graphics, but I have no idea how good they are.

Not on pc.

If you want better graphics you will need ENB and a preset you can live with.

It is a Next Gen Update, meaning it is for Next Gen consoles and helps the game to run on those at 60fps.

It is not some remastered or upgraded version of the game. Pretty sure PR and marketing would have made a fest of it if it was anything more than an normal update.

If you want better graphics, go to the Nexus and start looking and reading through comments sections, on upgrades or texture replacement packs. The wasted space of the high rez texture pack is just that: waste, for what you get. You can pick and choose on the nexusmods site which kinds of things you want out of the game and which can be left alone. Guns, armor, clothing, people, buildings, environment, lighting, trees, you can take your pick there and have instant feedback about whether the packs work correctly, where they should be loaded, etc.

if your GPU driver software is default then you are probably not getting the best out of it for any game/app. I fail to see how it could get any nicer without MODS. It's pretty nice for an older game.
