I've changed hardware since my initial problems, but I was unable to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas about a year back because they refused to run on my hardware. Even when trying A Tale of Two Wastelands. So I look forward to these sorts of game-porting mods.
Gotta say though, isn’t it a bit…arrogant, to state that anyone else working on a similar project should stop, abandon their own work, and instead help you?
I kinda feel like that spits in the face of the Fallout 4 New Vegas team who’ve been also working for years on their own rendition of NV in FO4.
On my blog I believe I mention specifically: "Modders and modding groups that are already attempting this concept should stop, read about this project, and use this absolutely amazing framework to work together and focus on more important things like question and character recreation; modders should take advantage of an already working project and create their own mods instead of trying to do the same thing "but better". I've taken literally years away from my life working on this project so that you don't have to. That's something to take advantage of!"
What I'm saying is that these developers that aren't even close to being done with the project, should use my project as a base or barebones if you will, so that they can successfully achieve their project goals quicker and shred years of work away. In what way is that arrogant. I'm literally suggesting people use all of the work that I already did to finish their projects- if you're cutting down trees with an axe by hand wouldn't you like to know some guy invented a chainsaw and is literally offering it to you?
I realize it's a very long and time consuming thing to make a mod like this, but like. Project Mojave's been out there for several years now. Even if Grilled Turkey is no longer able to work on NV proper, but Wolfe has been doing their own things expanding quite a bit. Maybe get with him, though I have kind of given up on their 'version', since they aren't really following any logical desires of people who are using the mod ("I won't make any settlements"....)

So yes, my timing is pretty unfortunate I guess, but I do believe that the methods I've established over the years will absolutely be beneficial to these guys regardless of their current progress.
Turkey is gone. they and numerous other modders picked up by bethesda or other companies.
