Just because bethesda HOSTS those mods, doesn't mean they quality or bug check them, and they aren't responsible for updating the mods. Only the person who created the mod can do that. And if they don't, well, looks like you're SOL.
Is it in everyone's game?
No? Then it's a mod that is optional.
CC is fan made products that Bethesda co-opted. Nothing more, nothing less. Bethesda did not make it. It is thus: a mod. If you had to subscribe to it or purchase it from their site, check the page from which you did that.
Bethesda has broken major CC mods in the past, they'll do it again in the future.
That makes it a mod, as its not made by Bethesda, nor an Bethesda employee. Bethesda is just the curator, and thanks yo for their 70% cut of the purchase price. (Because you had to pay real money to buy the coins to buy the mod)
And hey, I have them too.
The NG update borked the creation club content you have. You have to re-download them to get them to work again.
Yes, its free to do so.
Edit: In fact, arcade workshop pack, which OP was referring to, is made by bethesda.
They should have in fact *anticipated* the fact that things they, themselves, 'created' (and that is heavy airquotes there) would WORK with their update, neh?
It is, however, still a mod. It's not available for free with the vanilla game.
I don't like cc either, but you're really misleading people by insisting on calling it mods and telling them to read a mod page that doesn't exist..
Yes
So, still a mod just made by Bethesda
All the DLC made by AnyDeveloperNameHere fits the definition of a modification.
Needless to say (but just in case ya don't get it) mod is short for modification.
If it didn't release with the base game, it's a mod, no matter who created it or planned it for a future release just to make some extra caps from the game, still a mod!
Then you may have a larger issue to deal with.
Does the mod say that it requires anything else? I won't touch CC with a 10 foot electrified cattleprod, so I don't really follow any of the info on them. Did it work BEFORE now? Before the update?
CC stuff is made to be baseline compatible. Meaning you need nothing but the base game to use them. No external mods or tools (like a Vortex or MO2)
The reason I say he may have a larger issue to deal with is that all the CC stuff is working for the majority of people. For the few that ARE having issues, its turned out to be something else was causing the issue, be that other mods, or broken files, or what have you.
I have a large collection of CC stuff as well, and everything is working fine. Both in the NG version of the game. and after I did a roll back because some of my mods are never going to to be updated and I consider them a "must have".
