thank you. I just rested again for 24 and he was gone but this is good to know for anyone else cause all the posts i found wer from a decade ago and they all say stupid stuff like "just kill him" knowing hes essential NPC..stuff liek that that doesnt help. But anyway thanks.

Hold up. So a guy is on a rooftop after showing clear signs of severe depression due to witnessing his son being brutally killed and your advice is to leave and go to bed? :goalastonished:

I advocate dressing Jun Long up with cowboy gear from Nuka World, so that his slouch just looks laid back, rather than depressed.

It works for Sheffield as well, if you've picked him up from Diamond City.

He was probably just keeping the brahmin company. They like it up there as well.

To get people of the tops of houses, I leave the area—far enough that the whole place unloads (which is a rather long distance away at max settings). When I return, they're always back on ground level. Sleeping in the area doesn't work for me. It's leaving the area that works for me.

Some people have reported that leaving the area far enough that it unloads also requires sleeping elsewhere to fix this. So far for me, I only have to leave the area.
