I can't remember the romance mechanics - how to get Piper final stage ?

I have Piper with me for nearly 30 levels now and want to turn to a different companion, but not before I have romanced here completely. I have the highest level of friendship and also have unlocked the special attribute of her.
However, the 3-4 times when I got the flirt option in the dialogues, the option was RED and I busted it. (even with Charisma 7 and ladykiller perk - wtf)
Now I do not get the option to flirt at all anymore. what can I do ?

Was it not possible in this game to send the companion to "our home" when we kind of are engaged .- or do I mistake it with a different Fallout game..

You lost the chance.
You need to pass the skill checks that you get during dialogues as you increase their affinity for you.

Char 7 hardly get you through red choices. Why not wear a nice suit, a nice hat and some beer to increase the chance? Daytripper could also help boost char.

sure I can wear that but not in daily business and the dialogue comes so surprising.
(I failed to save/load to do that before the flirt dialogue starts)

You can look / move away from the person you're talking to get the option to change your outfits mid-conversation.
If that feels too "gamey", if companions bring up the "do you have a minute to talk?" when you can't change your outfit, simply select the "not right now" option and postpone the choice.
