Mods not working

Whenever I go to the mods menu on Fallout 4 it says this operation cannot be started. I've restarted it, Uninstalled reinstalled, and removed mcafee since many people said that worked in an old discussion but still nothing. Please help!!!

If nothing else helps, try to delete all files in the Mods folder.

Same for me on Xbox one X, but the mods that i have are working, so far, when I play the game. I can see the mods I have installed from within the game when I go to the esc button and check the mods from there. But there is quite a few seconds freezes as I travel the country side or visit town or settlements, because of the update, it is quite frustrating..... The only problem is that I will not be able to check for updates to the mods, or change or delete them or put new ones on... I also have the game on PC, but I can see the mods on it and they are working too, not all of them. Cheers.

Be grateful for it?! And get yourself a proper mod manager like Vortex or MO2, and use nexusmods.com.

Also, after the update will some mods be broken and require updates, too. This goes for nexusmods.com as well as the in-game mods.
