INVISIBLE STARTBOX TRAP!

So I start the game BUT where the PLAY button is, it traps the mouse cursor IN that now invisible box and I CAN'T get the mouse pointer to the tab on the bottom to start the game. Please fix this total garbage quirk.

That sounds similar to something that happens to me if I don't hit play fast enough the game opens up behind steam. Ala-Tab usually brings it forward.
