How can I limit the fps?
I want to play again without mods, and when it comes to deactivating all of them I have more than 400 fps and that makes the game go much faster. Does anyone have the same problem?

Nvidia Control Panel if it's Nvidia. Not sure for AMD.

The good news is that Radeon has one too: https://pcgearhead.com/how-to-open-amd-radeon-settings/

The load accelerator (non-F4SE version and leaves the rest of the game alone without disabling cheevos because neither the game nor Steam even is aware of it) limits FPS during gameplay and releases the cap during static loading screens.

you need to install the High FPS Fix. that is THE ONLY way to play this game at a smooth, stable framerate. dont listen to anyone else on here they dont know what they are talking about.

I recommend this method bec it 100% fixed my fps issue an made my game play way better
So i downloaded the load accelerator mod
Placed the files in the fallout 4 directory
After that go to the nv control panel
Switch vsync to FAST an vulkan/opengl present method to prefer native this helps for more stability of the mod
Then go into the load accelerator . Ini an find the ingamefps an use either 60-72 fps cap i use 72 dont recommend going any higher than that. An i went from 55 locked fps to 72 variable.

I concur. I've just installed the High FPS Pysics Fix[www.nexusmods.com] along with the latest F4SE and it runs buttery smooth.

I use RivaTuner to limit the FPS to 60. It works well enough for me but the screen tearing is still pretty bad. I also use an AMD gpu
