Thoughts on the new Enclave update
I have been thinking about this for the past week. What if this update we got for enclave remnants is just one small part of a much bigger update? From what I have seen in the videos of the new update the enclave set up bases in the common wealth and had plans to move in if they met no resistance. Other than the player character going around destroying the bases they don't have any other resistances in the common wealth other than the brotherhood. What if in the coming months Bethesda plans to release a fully fledged enclave update to keep us busy while Microsoft gets the plans set up for Fallout 5 to release ahead of schedule?

I just feel like they don't plan to stop working with the remnants how they are now, it wouldn't make sense for Bethesda to introduce them all of a sudden for no reason other than to be wiped out.

No there are two actually new ones. The Enclave Remnants one and Makeshift Weapons. But the other 7 yes are just old CC.

It's just a mod they decided to put into the game officially. The way they did it is stupid though as they use the goofy military garbs on the enclave soldiers, which looks kind of weird.

Doubtful, but was it a missed opportunity? Possibly.

They could've given the CC Enclave stuff away for free and dropped a paid, proper full Enclave DLC, and that would've sold like ice cream on a hot day. It's a nuts idea to do something like that for an old game though, but given the game numbers and etc, it would've probably sold quite well.

Won't happen though. They've gotta fix Starfield and work on Elder Scrolls 6.

There were actually talks to work on Fallout 5 sooner and get it released before 2030. The success of the TV show has them thinking they need to get the 5th installment out faster. I honestly wouldnt mind them pausing the release of ES6 to push out the 5th Fallout. Bethesda is better with Fallout than they are with ES
While I must confess my only exposure has been watching the youtube vids on it (I havenot updated) my impression is not all favorable.
IMHO this Quest is given to the SS way too early in the playthrough Out of the Vault.
I worry player will eb savescumming themselves to great OP weapons/armor
A big part of the games progresssion is to slowly finding better armor and weapons and then this will be gone from the game

As for Enclave mods Check out these 3, which I have all played. They are nuanced u can decide to fight or joint he enclave ( most folks join)
In one of them I can even make a Minuteman/Enclave alliance against the Brotherhood.

Enclave Resurgent
America Rising
and
Enclave New Story are all more nuanced

THat would be awesome but feel its unlikely. But the other resistance besides brotherhood is railroad, institute, and minutemen yeah?

I dont think the other factions would really care too much about the enclave except maybe the railroad a tiny bit
