B. Because of A. there will be no references or ties to FOLON in the Amazon TV show. By doing so, Bethesda would be acknowledging that a mod is a part of the lore - and they’re not going to do that for content which they didn’t create, or own.
C. The original release date was April 23rd 2024; however, due to the April 25th patch, the FOLON team decided to indefinitely delay the release of their mod. This is because FOLON relies on the Fallout 4 Script Extender and utilizes other systems created by people outside of the FOLON team.
They ultimately decided that instead of releasing the mod only for it to break two days later (and forcing people to either have to avoid the update, rollback their update, or simply wait it out), they would delay the release until it was fully in a state that would function with the new patch.
Because the FOLON team is not the original creators of the script extender or these other systems, and do not have permission to makes changes of their own to these things, they must wait until the original creators update their stuff to function with the April 25th patch. As these are all “normal” people who are not professional game makers and making these mods is not their career - it’s entirely up to them when - or if - they update their stuff.
The FOLON team has said though that if it takes too long for any of these individuals to update their work, the team will make whatever adjustments they need to compensate and get the mod out the door - even if it means removing one of these systems entirely or replacing it with one of their own creation.
