I am trying to modify the power armour legs and they will not appear in my inventory while at the crafting bench

I have removed them from the power armour, and every time I open the crafting bench they do not appear so I cannot modify the for heat resistance? And I cannot wear them as they are power armour and I cannot access the bench while wearing power armour

Did you only grab the legs/mods or do you have both? (four items) There's two leg armors, and two fire mods in the digging area.

Theres a PA hoist in the corner of the boiler room, as well as a full set of Raider armor parked there. As well as many scrap materails you need to craft the upgrade via junk in the room. Exit the power armor near the hoist to work on it.
The upgrade should be under misc for legs only.

Make sure you are using the Raider Power Armor, not the T45 or whatever you may have walked in wearing.

I have done all of this. I am in the room with the crafting bench and I cannot select the right or left leg anywhere, all I can work on is what I am wearing?

I have the legs and the stuff to mod them, I cannot select them anywhere, only move them to inventory or back onto the armour set.

I was not wearing power armour to do this mission.

This is very confusing!!

This is very confusing!!

You're at the wrong workbench. You need to be at the yellow power armor rack next to the power armor. If you can see the armor you're wearing, you're at an armor crafting workbench. You need to be at the power armor workbench.
