If you're having long load times, download the Load accelerator mod
You can get this in nexus mods, it's old but it works.

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10283

Simply place the mod files into the games local file area after you extract the zip folder. Then no more long load times when leaving buildings.

If you're having trouble with the mod just follow the instructions laid out on the site. I think it increases the FPS during the load times to decrease the load in general.

Thank goodness! This is just what I was looking for after it took five minutes to leave the BoS police station!

It's easy to install, just copy and paste the mod into the main fallout.exe file area then load the game.

You also know if it's working if you see new load icons at the bottom right of your screen as well.

Thanks, this cut my load times over half. It was taking over 30 seconds to leave the interiors of Concord.

sometimes though still loading times stuck, then really ALT-TAB and back is needed.

My load times are 4-5 seconds.

WTF did they tie the load times into the frame rate?

Wow thank you! The loading times were so frustrating lately, from 30 seconds to 4-5 minutes.

This worked for me, thanks. Disappointed that I have to rely on modders to fix a game from a supposed AAA company tho.

This is written into every 2nd topic about this theme. The internal thread-synchronization is tied to the fps. Also that the load accelerator is currently the only thing that helps.

No worries, I'm surprised I don't see people in here posting about the resolution to this problem.
