The X-02 you find for the quest is slightly better armor/item health wise, but the Quantums AP regeneration is amazing. I want to say its the best in the game. Enclave armor has AP regen, but I dont know if its as good as the Quantum.
T-60 with the Atom Cats flame paint is also sweet.
Its sad that the Enclave armor cant take either of those.
the Vim armor looks nice too.
Same. I just use the 3 pcs however ( from the Automatron Quest for Jezebel ) and then mix in T-51f pcs for the legs, helm. Helps to keep the cost down for repairs.
The energy weapon damage buff from it, helps.
Anything above T60 doesn't really look Falloutout to me.
And those new armors introed by the update dont look like fallout at all.
The one with the horns is the worst. I mean WTF!
Is not chopped liver and if upgraded to the max, T51F has more defense than a unupgraded X-01
Special coatings from mods add some health and stats, nothing crazy or OP, but enough of a buff to made it effective in the endgame.
Plus all but the torso ( which never truly breaks anyway) can be repaired with just Steel, something you always find on the road. Which I think is one of its most important features.
Plus itsthe most iconic look and the only one with a helmet that isnt too long (which means eye ports would have to be camera TV projected onto your eyeballs to be usable and not have greatly restricted field of vision.
Yes once upgraded into T51F they reallly come into their own and are end game capable.
And Still only need 5 steel to fix appendages and helmet...
If I really had to pick a favourite power armour (still not to use), probably Frank Horrigan 's custom power armour from Fallout 2, which dwarfs regular suits because it's designed for a gigantic cyborg mutant.
2. Vims/Nuka-Cola/Atom-Cat/Abraxo Paintjob, X-02
I never use Power Armour outside of the mission you first get one in.
And to avoid radiation in that one area of the map..
Aside from that it just decorates my towns really, I just don't see the need to use it or waste fusion cores powering them.
Nothing in the game is threatening enough to warrant it.
I like the protections of the T-65
The Excavator set is great for mining lead though.
