Console Commands List?
Is there a list of console commands? I've been searching but can't find it. I did find that the apostrophe shows the console. (can't imagine what happens if you are typing an apostrophe in the game!) Also the console text is microscopically tiny on my 50" display. Any way to increase the size?

You can always check the wiki[fallout.fandom.com]. Pretty much any game released anymore gets a wiki at some point or another.

The tilde/accent key is what key is used on a normal English/American qwerty keyboard. If you don't have one of those, there are ways to figure out which key activates the console.

' is an apostrophe, seated on the same key with " quotation marks.

` is the key you WANT on an american kb, under the ~ mark beside the numbers.

These may be different if your kb is either using a nonstandard English layout, or a non-english layout.

Also why would you be 'typing an apostrophe in the game'? There's no text in this game, only the console needs typing, and there's no case which I can think of where one exists in a command.

This page:

Has not only the most relevant console commands, but also a list of the keys needed for various languages :)

You can change the console size, console text size and colour in your .ini files.

[Menu]
iConsoleTextSize=20
rConsoleTextColor=255,255,255
iConsoleSizeScreenPercent=40

See also Bilago's Configuration Tool for more settings.

I guess you could be typing in your character's name, or more frequently, the custom name you're giving to a weapon or piece of armour.

guessing Swiss language setting. their console key is the '/" key... luckily you don't need single quote ever, but you definitely do need double quotes for commands and function calls with spaces in them.

yeah that's definitely a concern for keys, though I would *imagine* that if the game is properly displaying otherwise, hoppppefully that won't be a problem.

the custom name you're giving to a weapon or piece of armour.

You know, I've never been able to successfully rename anything without it royally messing up the list order and scrolling. Once you reach the custom name it tends to scroll back to it instantly while you're doing anything at the armor or weapon bench, which is very frustrating.

If you look for a command to give yourself a custom armor or weapon, then better use in-game mod explorer. Perchik71 has updated the mod, it reads now esl's as well.
