Hellfire power armor CC quest?

I just realized last night that I have this Power armor from the CC. I somehow managed to forget I had it.

I also noticed there's one on Nexus as well. I am running into a issue tho. I don't know if there's supposed to be a quest for it or not, and I spent way too much time last night wandering trying to find the hatch for it but there is no hatch.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the mod a few times but the hatch never shows.

Is there supposed to be a actual quest for it and if so would anyone know the console command to get it to start or any way to get the hatch to show up?

You need to head to Pyros camp, which is South east of Listning Post bravo, there is a big camp fire in the middle, you cant miss it. How-ever i highly recommend the x-02 PA CC mod, it's much better in terms of stats, then the hellfire

SS only needs T-51 power armor. Anything else cannot be maintained (uses too much aluminum), and is special purpose for BOSS battles, e.g. you're going against the Mechanistic and don't know how to shoot her in the back; you get Danse to take you to the BOSS Pigwhen and then kill everyone on board; Thuggysmurf mods (e.g. when you start "depravity" and get caught in a Gunner attack at Fallon's Headquarters. I get killed every time... )

Except for BOSS (as in big battle, Not Brotherhood Of Steal Ship) if you get killed in T-51, you're playing it wrong.

Thanks, I will check that out when I get home

It also has a very nice quest associated with it. The CC X-02. The Devil's Inferno modification you can apply to it, works pretty well. Instantly killing any of the babies from the Murlurks and a Queen.

Lol I got Cait in the captain cosmos PA, she ROCKS, storms into the middle of raiders, blasting away with her fat gun and survives

Lol I do have the Captain Cosmos PA also and I will admit, watching Cait rampage through a group of raiders does sound like it would be fun to see

Ok so kinda odd..... I actually remember Pyro. I went there and he was already dead, I remember taking him out a long time ago.... but for some reason I didn't remember it being about the power armor lol. So yeah,I went and found him still there with the power armor. Cool :) Apparently the hatch I was trying to find had to do with the version on Nexus.

Yes, the hatch in the ground located in the northeastern part of the Glowing Sea is for the Nexus version.

It leads you down into an abandoned Enclave bunker where you’ll fight a few basic enemies (rad roaches and a feral or two IIRC) and then you’ll find the PA at the end. I can’t remember who made it, but they either had the guy who did Outpost Lima design the bunker or were heavily inspired by his stuff. There’s also a small helping of misc Enclave related items you can pick up down there.

One thing I discovered recently that I feel is quite strange is that when looking in my Data folder I actually have the Main and Textures BA2s for the CC Hellfire PA, but not the ESL.

I’m 99.99% sure I never bought it (because I used the Nexus one instead), plus on the CC page it doesn’t indicate I’ve ever bought it.

I thought maybe there were some shenanigans afoot and the Nexus one somehow used and inserted the CC files into my game, but these files are not part of that Nexus mod.

yea, there's 26 files pre-installed that start with cc. I mean, feel free to delete 'em. I sure did.
