FM 52.7 holotape not letting me hack it

Doing the Speak Of The Devil quest. The holotape associated with this quest FM 52.7 is supposed to be hacked to progress but when I hit either option it comes up with "Hijacker error. Generating random list failed." or "Transmitting $nullkey... Symmetric key not found... Decryption failed." It also says "No network detected." What am I missing?

Same i have to play the holotape fm but can t find it in my inventory...

Found a fix - even if you're using a walkthrough to cheat your way to the password, you still need to pick up the little piece of paper with the password on it for the quest to continue.
