Oh.. the loading times
Man, man man... I love Fallout, but whatever they now added, on Ultra, the loading times are insane... I wanted to unlock FPS or use mods to boost loading times, but none of them are currently ready.
It's like playing League of Legends now, between matches, just play another game for it to load you back everything you explored an instance and have to go back to the main world.

Until the mods are back up an old trick is to simply push windows and go to desktop. And then 1-1.5 seconds later back to the game by clicking the icon on the taskbar.
Works in 80% of the time for an immediate or near immediate load.

Don't use the high resolution texture pack from Bethesda itself.

It does. I'm using it right now. You need to disable anything that screws with vsync and make sure you aren't turning the game's native vsync off.

The faster the PC the worse that bug seems to get, been running the game unmodded and the load times was worse on my optane and pcie4x4 m.2 than on my slow ass media hdd... go figure how fcked up Bethesda's load routines are in the engine!

That said an simple desktop back and forth usually have it insta-load... but then it might introduce the mouse cursor bug instead... great - Just proves how the game behaves when code monkeys have been at work!

Works fine for me and the loading times are negligible on my system. So... maybe it's the users' systems and not the game.

Yeah because you don't happen to get an issue immediately invalidate the tons of users who have this issue on their perfectly fine PC's

Nah, it happens to me too, specialy when I am in the middle of boston and I cleared a bunch of places or the game has to load a lot o corpses.

middle of boston, is the main issue. it litterally 2+ min to load out into the "town"

It not really the issue if the base i/o was fast enough, 30 secs load time on an modern M2 drive or do an alt-tab back and forth to windows during load to basically have it loaded instantly. Its an software issue with Bethesda's game.

The mod that is "fixing" this only uncaps the frame-rate through vsync off and sets core affinity during load... it tells me the load times are tied to the frame rate and the multi-threading is majorly fcked up - that's bethesda code monkey skill's right there!

Have you considered that the majority of people don't have issues and that it's a minority who do because they think that their "perfectly fine" systems will run every game? Nevermind, I think we all know the answer to my question. The vocal minority always thinks of themselves as a silent majority.

Most won´t even recognize it or make a post about it.
If vsync is off they won´t run into that issue at all.
Game has to set vsync on, graphics card driver has to set to use the game settings. Then the load accelerator will work.
