Thankyou for not hopping on the hate bandwagon and being objective about it.
On the subject of mods, all mods except the ones that use F4SE should work just fine.
I capped my fps to 120 and set VSync to Always On in the Adrenalin software. I haven't seen any issues yet.
I think I have one anxiety is whether the creation club settlement ambush kit works. I bought that CC so I don't need to go so far to resolve settlement fights. Also gave me a good reason to equip settlers with some hot hardware and to build masses of automatic laser turrets.
Spectator island is a Deathclaw farm. I think I got 33 settlers and 7 deathclaws there. Hope the raiders will oblige. Might end up with 30 plus deathclaws eventually....
Loading times are even worse than before, sometimes stuck in a min loading screen.
Very cool todd.
in vanilla, in the problem zones my fps dropped to 5 fps. literally unplayable. then i modded the crap out of the game and i got my 60 fps. getting 60 fps without mods is a win for me.
the mod thing is sad, but they will recover. with FO beeing more popular than ever before, modders will have every reason to stay active.
I've had almost no problems or complaints, but I hadn't played in years so I installed a clean vanilla copy of the next gen version. From what I've read here, most unhappy players are the ones who upgraded old installs of the game that have had years of modifications. It's no wonder they're having technical problems.
