Game speed increased cause FPS is higher?
Is there a way to fix this? The NPC's talk super fast once I went from 60 FPS to 144. Not sure how to make the game feel normal speed with the increased FPS

lower it to 70 80? it's smooth at 60 regardless of resolution.

Congratulations you voluntarily broke the game physics despite about 60 threads warning about it.

Great work, as a heads up do not walk under ladders, play in traffic or stick forks in electrical outlets either.....

There was a fix.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44798?tab=description

But right now, with the last "next-gen" update, the mods are brokwn.

Unfortanely, you have to limit the game to 60 fps.

For example: open Nvidia Control Panel, 3d settings, selecting Fallout and setting 60 fps max.

Set IPresentInterval=1 in the ini and set the max FPS for fallout4.exe to 120 in the nvidia control panel, should work with normal physics, works for me.

120 fps limit works fine...
We should have a fix post warning every one to just lock fps to 120...

My Fps is capped at 145 which is my monitors refresh rate and I have Zero issues.

Played about 2 hours today so far.

No it doesn't. I had several doors not work for me until I limited FPS to 60 since the update.

You're sped up and will encounter broken things. Promise. This is a huge game. You'll find it and then regret will ensue.

If you say so.
I already know how the game runs I have 120 hours in it and absolutely nothing feels different to me so far.

If you're using Nvidia go to the Nvidia control panel and lock your fps to 60 for this game.

It can work at higher rates as mentioned above. But it doesn't need to.

Did u try 120 or a higher number? 144 limit for me don't work, game speed get crazy high and voice goes bad.

Put it at 60 then 120. You walk faster at 120 cause its broke. Watch the birds too. And then you'll get bugged and regret will ensue. Do whatever you feel like. If all people warning you from the Mountain Tops doesn't mean much to you then Good Luck.

120, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240. 60 works.

Hmm this is so weird, i actual try this using msi after cap+nvidia... cap nvidia to the higher number and msi after burner to the lowest....u can easy turn on fps cap on and off on msi after burner...

60cap going to 120cap is normal, game feel the same.
120cap going 144cap speed increase massive, game is obvious bronken.

Walking doesn't feel much faster but it is. Everything is. Even at 120. Guess you can't perceive it. I can. And when a door doesn't work then you drop the frames to 60 and it does. You'll understand.
