Is there a Workshop Mod to Get Rid of Brown/Black face glitch?
I tried looking for a mod, in workshop until F4SE is fixed, to get rid of the black/brown face glitch but didn't find one. Is there a mod in workshop or some other way to get rid of this bug?

Remember, "WORKSHOP mod only.'
Thanks.

if it's persistent it's your mod load order, or loose texture files, or mismatched texture resolutions intermixed between mods on the same body mesh... you can temporarily fix it with a console command, tag the character in question and refresh them, 'cf queueupdate 0'; (that's a zero not an oh) but as soon as you transition a cell load or anywhere you get disabled then re-enabled, even an elevator, it's likely coming back... ya gots ta fix ya mods.

It is not that I don't want it. It is that F4SE is broken and we have to wait until they fix it to use nexus mods.

I tried following the instructions to roll back the game several times and it doesn't work.

the only thing that works is playing the game through steam Fallout4.exe, and the only mods we can use are workshop mods. But I downloaded a preset for my main character and a mod for npcs and my main character and the spouse's faces either turn brown, or completely black.

People have already reported that the problem is the Hi Res Textures pack from Bethesda. There is one mod in particular in nexusmods that fixes this, but the mod is not in the workshop and I was wondering if there is a similar mod in workshop that fixes the glitch/bug.

Not all nexus mods need F4SE! Many don't need it.
This is the mod in nexusmods that fixes the brown/black face glitch.

Was wondering if there is one in workshop that does the same.

The above pretty much answers your question.

I only get the dark faces sometimes and only after I started using Eli's Compendium clothing mod. And mostly my companions only. I don't even notice it anymore.
how in the world do we fix load order with worshop?

Do you have the HD pack installed? I've heard that can cause similar issues.

I know that's what you were hoping for, a workshop work around, but as far as I'm aware that's not possible.

You can't start the game without the download commencing.

That mod does not have an F4SE requirement.
It's basically just a corrected texture pack (you can check file contents - it's all .dds files).

I didn't write that about that mod. What I wrote is that that is the mod that takes care of the dark/black face glitch when using F4Se, which other mods do need F4SE, but workshop doesn't have it and I don't know any other way to fix the black/brown face glitch.

Eli's compendium is not the problem. I am not sure what you did. I disabled Eli's compendium and started a fresh game and still get the brown and black faces glitch. Even in my Mod Manager 2 mods list I have ELi's compendium and the only way I was ever able to fix that glitch is with the mod I provided earlier.

It's also been 10 years since Fallout 4 came out and Bethesda hasn't come up with a workshop mod, or they don't want to use one, that enables achievements with mods.

But...you...linked it?

Some mods require F4SE, some do not. F4SE isn't intrinsically linked to Nexusmods.
Meaning: you can get mods from Nexusmods that don't rely on F4SE.
The one you linked, a fix for the face texture issue, doesn't require F4SE.

Yes, it's not a workshop mod, but your req for it to be workshop you stated was because...

... which is just confusing everyone, if I can be blunt.
Because nexusmods is simply a file sharing site and it's just the individual files that may, or may not, require F4SE.

Look, the mod you linked will fix it, it doesn't require script extender. Maybe you were talking about another mod? Regardless, good luck :)
