PS4 Controller Disabled in new update?

I've reinstalled, restarted, unplugged/plugged back in so many times and my PS4 controller no longer works with the game. The setting is enabled and I've even tried other games on Steam and the controller works fine. Did Bethesda disable PS4 controllers during the new update? I don't see it in the patch notes.

Mine works.....unless you want to change POV or activate/deactivate the workshop in your settlement. Basically I have to activate by going to the bench. The only way to deactivate is to walk outside of the build area. It seems to be a touchpad issue. I can't find a way to rebind it through steam controller settings.

So there wasn't anything you had to do to get it to work? I feel like this update completely messed with this function. Quite annoying

After installing, I had to re-enable steam input. After that it "worked".
It was the update.
I was having no problems until directly after.

I have the same problem my ps4 controller doesn't work anymore. What can I do pls ?

tried a Dualsense controller & it seems to be doing well, dunno where my Dualshock went.

My PS4 controllers are fine. Both the Sony ones and the aftermarket ones.

Are you using the PS4 controller on a PC or something?

And yes you have to be outside settlement build area to change your camera, because it's bound to the same key as settlement build mode.

Quite a few games that have native support needs steam input disabled to work.
(rightclick game in steam - properties - controller - steam input <- disabled)

Update for everyone... I got it to work. You need to re-enable the PS4 controller in your steam settings. Make sure it says the "Enabled" option not the "Enabled in Games w/o Support" and then run Fallout 4 in "Big Picture Mode." I did those two things and got it to work. The update must've messed with everything.
