I don't like the Ghoul guy in the show

Actually, the Ghoul is the protagonist of the series. It is his story, the other 2 are sidekicks.

walton goggins has experience and screen presence. when he walks in to a room he dominates everyone inside of it because that's how he is as a person. the other main characters are inexperienced actors who have little to zero films or plays behind themselves. walton goggins will last forever. these other two people will be in the fallout show and you'll never see them again. don't blame walton; blame amazon for not picking better actors

He's great and very likely saved the 1st Season. He adds the grit the show needed. Ironically, I don't even really like Ghouls in the game.

It was clearly a missed opportunity for consistent naming: Horny Vault Girl, Armour Black Guy, and the Ghoul.

Lucy is NOT horny. She is an innocent white vault angel; the others are the boring black armor guy, and the annoying ghoul.

Cooper and Lucy are essentially the same character arc. It's just hat Cooper had his arc to cynical and ruthless a couple of hundred years before Lucy. The TV show did a great job of pairing those two.

As for Maximum, I find his arc very interesting as well. We know from the Fallout 4 game that the Brotherhood of Steel are brutal bigots, essentially the main villains of the game. And yet Maximum grew up with an idealized version of the BoS which didn't end up fitting reality. I'mj very interested to see where the TV series takes the BoS next season because this is also a potentially profound character and faction arc. At the moment the TV series BoS is evil. But it has the potential to be reformed. Will it reform to fit the game, or will it reform to be what Maximum always wished it was?
