Crashes after Update?

Is anyone else's saved game crashing after the update? I REALLY don't want to start a new game!

yeah my game crashes like 3 minutes in after loading a save. Very weird. running vanilla too

I've been crashing in random intervals. 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes tops. Usually happens when I'm attempting to loot an NPC.

my game crashes when im running to the vault, seriously how can this game be so buggy after 9 years?

I have crashed about once every 3 or 4 hours of play.
Can't tell what causes it. Just randomly crashes to desktop.

Crashes in the intro sequence shortly after the character creation :/

Yep, randomly crashing to desktop, seems to be around an hour or so in each time

Yeah, just came back to the game after a while. Crashes after about an hour of playing. No idea what is causing it though

The main common issue that is still persistent with the game and which causes it to crash, even after this so-called "nExT geN" update, is the "Weapon Debris" setting in the game's launcher. Try to disable that first.

If you play with mods, then forget it.

I'm going to try this. It's absolutely ridiculous that this game is still so unstable. WTF?

A decade later and despite the "effort", they didn't really fix anything practical. This is what you get from a group of morons claiming to be game devs.
