A possible solution if you can't start the game through the launcher (PC)

Hello, maybe my experience can help you.

After installing the update, when I clicked the Fallout 4 play button in Steam menu, the launcher did not even appear. The game did not start. I tried reinstalling the game, checking the game files, clearing the cache, but nothing helped. After trying to launch the fallout 4 launcher from a local folder, an error message appeared "vcruntime140_1.dll was not found".

After searching the web for answers, I installed the latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes (X86 and X64 architecture) from the official website. Then I rebooted my computer. After that, I was able to launch the game at least, the launcher appeared again!

Try to install latest (2022) Microsoft Visual C++ (X86 and X64). Good luck!

I have same problem clicked launch and nothing happened. Now i am selecting window mode and boarder-less and it enter the game.
I am using window 11 and AMD 7900x3d and 4060Ti
