New Update Glitches

Since downloading the new next-gen update, I have noticed many glitches that I do not believe were present in the game before. Here are three that stuck out to me as particularly glaring. (btw I'm playing on Steam Deck so these might be exclusive to that)

1. I cannot change the name of anything. This includes weapons, automatrons, etc. Whenever I type in a new name and press enter, nothing changes. The new name is seemingly just sent into the void.

2. After editing any automatrons, they all use the protectron walking animation and sound effects. Existing automatrons are unaffected, but new ones or editing old ones glitches them so even if they have a mr. handy thrust or tracks they glitch-i-ly walk around.

3. Any time I try to toggle god mode (tgm), my game crashes instantly.

You might as well go ahead and downgrade. There are threads about it. Nexus has a downgrade patch available.. right on front page.

In my case the update broke the mod section on the main menu, when i try opening that in some cases the game crashed and in others it gives me an error that says: The operation could not be completed

If you've doubts about it, definitely downgrade. I installed the update this morning only 'cause there were so many crying threads over it. double manningface all across the sky.

I had a glitch that never happened prior to the update. Not bad compared to yours, but there are little things.

This one happened after I went back to 111. After coming back out, my character's hair glitched. Her hair disappeared, but not completely. Looked like a swarm of gnats buzzing around her head. Had Codsworth with me.

Quitting the game and reloading fixed it, but I never saw this glitch before. Playing vanilla.
