Always love a good Bethesda Update outrage

Time and time again the discussion board warns people that updates are going to break mods.

Time and time again, people don't listen, update and try to play with their mods anyway.

updated, yes. that's why we literally still have oblvion/skyrim conversations in it... it was never rebuild afaik, just continously updated and upgraded... it is time to delete taht crap since decades already.

Sadly i play a very modded game, most of my mods are old as dirt and it does not appear their creators are active on FO4 anymore. So the breaking of my game is pretty fatal for my FO4 fun. I have no interest in playing vanilla so i guess i will add waiting for a new fallout game to my waiting on a new skyrim game folder. (though to be fair skyrim still plays for me, but its age is starting to show)

just don't update and continue to play...
i know that a lot of my mods will never see an update, maybe a patch, but some are from 2015-2017 and they all moved on years ago.

so don't fix whats not broken , else you will break it ; most people know this but not techs that have little to do .

Bethesda were built on the modding communities. While parts of the player community can be real pigs at times, it seems Bethesda can also be pretty ignorant of what and what does not make good relationships with their paying customers and all the modders that support their games..

Just saying.

The upcoming 'Fallout London' DLC (Mod) was to be releasing on April 23rd, but Bethesda decided to also announce that Fallout 4 would be getting its major update on April 25th, around the same time.

It sounds like although it was well-known fact by virtually everyone on the Internet, Bethesda gave them no prior notice of the next-gen update, which “for lack of a better term, screwed them over”.

If you have a NVIDIA RTX video card, disable "Weapon Debris"... it's one of those long standing bugs that Bethesda doesn't feel like fixing.

honestly its annoying how after over 5 years of no updates bethesda tries to do what modders have been doing already for awhile now and that is fixing their game. the core mod that i use is completely jorked now :/ and i have no idea until other mods are gonna be fixed.

Starfaild, the new cow on the farm, isn't producing enough milk so they grabbed a bucket and walked over to the older section in the barn where FO4 and Skyrim are standing. They know Skyrim's teats are getting pretty old and crusty, and barely produce anything so they decided to try FO4's this time. Might get half a pint out of the ole cow, and probably half kill her in the process.
