I was having so much fun using the laser gatling
EDIT : Is there a fallout 4 mod manager to make the mod installation easier ?
I play on survival mode and I have to store excess cores at my base because I have so many, if I didn't I wouldn't be able to move.
If your character is high INT, you could put points into the nuclear physicist perk which makes the cores last longer.
Also the luck perk for finding more ammo is helpful, you will be swimming in them soon enough.
Use that time to craft a decent armour and weapons instead.
You can run one core right down to 0 or 1/2/3 and store it(jump out armour at last second), use those cores for settler, you will find many power amour, put in many settlements, you aren't giving the armour a full core, your giving the settlers a spent core, that's all they need. While i sit there with 70+ cores around lvl 40/50.
Once you get even higher you core count should be at least 120+ cores. Looting, buying, selling stuff for them(raider trash, leather trash, pipe weapons). Caps.
Get to lvl 100 + and you've gained so much you can even enter large hard mode fights with your carefully crafted Legendary armours and no power armour at all. Park it up jump out, fight
I always wander in a power armor & use a laser gatling, so i'm using the cores quite a lot
I been wondering if that AMMO perk is actually very noticeable ? Like is it worth getting ?
Yes, because even if you don't get the ammo you want, you can trade that for the ammo you need.
just have your minion carry most of your core as the game defaults to using a core at 100% core before using the 50% core
questions from the first times of the initial release ;)
Yea it's like going back in time.
Feels good :D
