you need to limit your fps to 60 - 120 is kinda ok-ish as far as i can tell but yeah. everything is so fast becaus the physics are tied to the framerate - the higher the framerate, the faster the "gameplay"

really sad they called that update next gen and didnt fix this well known issue

Per this post by Park_Ranger.

If you have a Nvidia graphics card.

Go to Nvidia Control Panel, and turn on vertical sync in Manage 3D Settings.

Or create a custom setting for Fallout.

This was the mod but the update destroyed it.

But u need Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) for the high FPS fix aktuall it dont have the update for F4 update.

Imagine it's the year 2024 and ur buying a 240h, or 540hz monitor and want to try fallout 4, since all mods got nuked u gotta play at a whopping 60hz to not upset the 8 and a half year old engine.

Bethesda what are yall doing? 🤣🤣

Turning on vertical sync in Nvidia control panel under manage 3D settings worked for me.

There's a AMD solution further down the first page on the link I posted by Allein.

If you have AMD, go into the Radeon software and activate "Radeon Chill" in adjust game graphics. Limits the FPS.

Edit I see you mentioned AMD solution.
