I was expecting better graphics.

So, I got the update. Looks like new quests, weapons and armor etc. But I thought this was supposed to improve the graphics a lot. I can't really tell much difference.

Game is running perfectly fine with the update.

Why? It’s obviously going to run on the same engine, they weren’t doing an overhaul.

You should start reading patch announcements then! lololol... They literally gave us a huge heads up that this was mainly for Console players to get 60 fps performance and PC players to have widescreen with some fluff content and maybe bug fixes that was it...

Gonna have to wait for mods to get updated to work with the update for that. I'm not unhappy with vanilla graphics anyway. I just assumed the update would improve on them.

meshes, textures, bones and lods, those are what makes graphics and requires effort, no matter what engine is used. take HL2 High-Quality Main Character Skin Pack"[gamebanana.com]" for example those look better than any fallout npc
