I killed paladin danse on accident please help

I killed paladin danse when I got the quest Call to Arms and then I failed the quest, how do I reset this and be able to join BOS

OI...FIRST of all...TURN OFF your mod that ALLOWS NPCS that are essential to BE killed....otherwise there IS NO POINT to reloading from earlier saves...

If you use a Fatman you can take him out and Piper at the same time.

You can kill Danse by becoming enemies with the BOS. Easy way to do that is to shoot Rhys after finishing the ferals and telling Danse the rest of his 7 man unit, now 3 because he chose ghoul central as his base of operations, that they'll soon be dead.
Shoot Rhys with a Pipe gun if you're worried about your murder count. Then it just counts as assault.
Then you can kill all three of them.
No Mod needed or required. No ridicule of other players required.

ummm....WHY did the OP poster STATE they were ACTIVELY ATTEMPTING to COMPLETE a BOS quest (which means you as the player are ALLIED to Paladin Danse and BOS)?????? YOU, XENON, mistated (or likely miscontrued) that the OP was actively ATTEMPTING to kill Paladin Danse, and thus become enemies with BOS (or even JUST Paladin Danse)...so....when they say 'help', i accidentally killed somebody....they likely NOT asking for a 'better' more 'legit way to KILL the same NPC ALL OVER again...AND they ARE LIKELY actually USING a mod to allow perma-kills of NPCs...I think such a contradictory request (i.e. to bring back an NPC that you would not normally BE ABLE to easily kill in order to have them as an ally to complete a quest while simultaneously using a mod that allows NPC perma-kills)...generally qualifies as...trolling....

TURN OFF YOUR PERMA KILLS MOD...AND.... START OVER...IF you would actually LIKE to have this quest available as a future option.......the logic is there...action...and consequences
